Upon deciding to get a divorce I hired Mark and his legal team to handle my case. Filling for a divorce was an extremely difficult decision for me. If anyone is in need of a family court lawyer you could not go wrong using Hillary and hear assistant Toni. Our case had more twist and turns then you would believe. After a year of trying on our own we hire Hillary and he team and in after navigating the court system we received the decision that we desired. Toni was always there to take us down or answer questions . Hillary who seems seems calm and easy going was a tiger in the court room . she was able to expose all the lies from the other side and allow the judge to rule on the case based on the current facts. I was blindsided by my wife with divorce papers. I thought everything was going well. I had been divorced for several years when I retained Goldstein Law Group to represent me in seeking a modification to my custody and support order. At the time of my divorce, the combination of my emotional state and the weak representation from my former attorney led me to sign what was, for me, an unfair, unbalanced custody and support order that didn’t benefit my children or myself in any way. Although the language of my order left the door open for me to have additional parenting time with my children, it was opposed by my ex-wife at every turn despite my persistent requests. This led me to Mark Goldstein and Francine Galante. Mark listened to my story, reviewed my poorly written property settlement agreement from several years prior and solidly advised me on what I was in for. It was the fight of my life. He was honest with me about the time, energy and money that would be involved. I was given opportunities along the way to settle, which would have cut my legal expenses, but would not have given me the fair agreement I was seeking. I spent 15 long months in litigation with my ex. As expected, she blocked every attempt at negotiation, despite being represented herself by an attorney, despite multiple rounds of mediation, despite telephone conferences with the judge, culminating in several days of testimony at a plenary hearing. Francine and Mark worked diligently on my behalf communicating with the opposing counsel, the mediator and the judge. I am happy to report that I was successful in my quest to obtain 50/50 shared residential custody of my children. My new order is fair, balanced and affords my children the opportunity to share equally in the love and affection of both parents. The resultant financial aspects of the new order were fair and clearly written to avoid future misinterpretations. I cannot be happier with the outcome. I never could have come this far without the strong representation by my attorneys Mark and Francine. They were there for me every step of the way. Was it expensive? Of course it was. I am a professional working in healthcare. I called Mark searching for help starting out as a plaintiff in a case. This was my first rodeo being involved in such a matter so I wanted to seek out his advice and expertise. On my way over i had received a message that a cross temporary restraining order was filed against me. I couldn't believe it. Mark helped me calm my nerves a bit. I went to Mark because my ex-wife filed a bogus motion for primary. mark went right to work by immediately firing a letter to my ex-wife's attorney (Weinberger law group) and clearly stating their claim had no merit and was totally bogus. then he arranged a 4 way sit-down meeting where he made it clear to my ex-wife that she has absolutely no evidence whatsoever to support any of her claims. then he had my children meet the judge which further supported that my ex-wife was making up every one of her allegations. my ex-wife and her attorney backed down and custody remained exactly the same! great job by Mark and attorney Julie Katz as well.

I met Mark as a new attorney in the late 1980s when he handled a real estate transaction for me and also prepared my will. Unfortunately in the late 1990s I once again needed a lawyer to handle my divorce and I immediately called Mark. Since I was the sole provider for the family Mark explained to me the entire divorce process and approximate final settlement of the divorce. The final financial settlement was within 10 percent of our first meeting. Mark was also able to negotiate part of the settlement which would allow me a normal life upon my daughters becoming emancipated and my retirement.
